Hannah Latta is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida specializing in individual therapy and maintains a private practice online serving residents of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.   

I graduated from Columbia International University in 2011 with a Masters in Professional Counseling and began working in private practice.   In 2014, I started the Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist training and finished in 2015.  I specialize in working with partners of sex addicts.  This training has been helpful in knowing how to provide support and direction to the many people who are experiencing this situation.  In 2015, I was trained and became certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence-based best practice for trauma therapy.  This therapy is extremely effective, gets to the core, and many times works a lot faster than traditional therapy.   The results are amazing!  In 2018, I was trained in Telehealth and became a Board-Certified Telehealth Counselor.   This training helps me to provide safe, effective therapy via video or phone.  In April of 2019, I received training in Brainspotting and am in the process of being certified in this modality as well.  This, too, is an effective therapy that gets to the core and clients come to some insights and resolution they would not have otherwise.  In April 2023, I finished training for Internal Family Systems, Level 1 and am pursuing certification.  I am also a licensed professional counselor supervisor and can provide supervision to Licensed Professional Counselor Associates.

I not only use the training I received but, also, my own life experience and journey. Most people going through life face challenges with which they need a little extra help. If you have, as a child, experienced abuse or neglect, are currently in an abusive relationship, dealing with infidelity, or are a partner of a sex addict, this most likely has affected you, and you may be experiencing anxiety and depression from this trauma.  I work with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are PTSD, abusive relationships (emotional, verbal, narcissistic), anxiety, depression, infidelity, partners of sex addicts, trauma, codependence, separation/divorce, and women's issues.

My therapeutic approach is to provide evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, Brainspotting and Internal Family systems.  I also provide support, education, resources and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.  I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding,  I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.  My specialty lies in helping people feel empowered as they work through trauma and abuse. I help people process feelings, grieve their losses, gain their self-esteem, regulate emotions, become assertive and get their voice back to stop the abuse cycle.
